In the Vietnamese culture there is one major holiday that everyone celebrates: the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Tet! Unfortunately some people find themselves in situations where they cannot celebrate this popular holiday, like the residents at the Vietnamese Nursing home Lang Tre. For this reason, every year we partner with Lang Tre and throw a grand Tet party! Things we do include live music, karaoke, traditional Vietnamese games, dragon dances, martial arts performances, and (most importantly) snacks. We essentially try to make the New Year as fun and exciting as it should be for those who cannot celebrate on their own.
