Baking Cookies for the Children in Hospitals

It is often scary for children in the hospital to be away from their homes for so long, and the exhaustion of feeling unwell along with staying in a hospital can be overwhelming at some points. For this reason we began a project with the goal of helping the kids who have to stay in hospitals for long amounts of time and cannot visit their homes. Baking cookies is a family tradition that always ends in happiness and yummy treats, and always helps when undergoing rough times. This eventually led us to partner with the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that focuses on helping seriously ill children. With there help, we were able to spread this bite of happiness and complete our project for these children.
