Books

This project is a Book Drive fundraiser to purchase books so children will be encouraged to read at a young age and see that learning is fun.

Volunteers signed up and offered their hair to be dyed, cut, or styled in the annual Hair and Beard Auction. People would bid to do things, like dye someone's hair pink, and sometimes the volunteer outbid people so that they wouldn’t do something like cut 6 inches of their hair.

All the money that was bid got collected via online format for safety and spent on books. By the end $1000 was raised. With all that money we bought over 80 books and donated them to the Library at Harmony Science Academy - Bryan.
